Hi Friends!! Hope you all have enjoyed your weekends. I was blessed this weekend to attend the Women's Retreat at my church on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Not only was it a joy to spend time with precious sisters in Christ, but I got to reconnect with a friend who used to live in my hometown and she was our speaker! It was such a blessing to hear Sherrie bring a word from the Lord. I left feeling challenged and encouraged. It was also so fun to get to spend time with my friend Kathleen!

After the retreat, I had lunch with some fabulous friends and spent the rest of the day working on school assignments to prepare for the week ahead...I may or may not have also been listening to the Men's and Women's Baylor basketball games at the same time -- a girl's gotta work on her multitasking skills, right?! :)
Today, I was blessed to spend the morning at church and this afternoon I splurged and made this little delicacy! It is called Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie and I found the recipe
here via my friend Amy. I haven't tried it yet, but my mouth is watering just looking at this picture, so I might have to have a bite soon!
