Wedding Time!

Several weeks ago I had the incredible joy of being a part of my sweet cousin and his beautiful bride's special day!  It was such fun to spend time with special friends and family.  The weekend began Friday evening with the wedding rehearsal at the church.

The stunning iron work decor at the front of the church during the rehearsal.  The next day gorgeous flowers were added to the wonderful swirling grapevine.

Yes, I was there, too. :)  Waiting for my cue to sing!

Rehearsing "How Deep the Father's Love for Us"

Thanks, Kathleen, for taking these wonderful photos!! :)

After the rehearsal, we headed to the fabulous rehearsal dinner!

Auntie Di had these adorable pineapple sugar cookies and Texas sugar cookies as favors.  Perfect representations of the home states of the bride and groom!

We enjoyed wonderful appetizers and a fun time of visiting before dinner.

Mom and Debbie greeted guests as they arrived.
Three fabulous ladies!!

Cash and his cousin, Sara. :)

I loved the candles in the fireplace.
Yummy appetizer buffet

It was such a beautiful evening that I couldn't resist popping out back to capture the moment.

The dinner decor was gorgeous.  I loved the soft green accents and beautiful centerpieces.

The salad was delicious mozzarella and tomatoes.

Dinner was an Italian masterpiece.  So many wonderful dishes to enjoy!

With fabulous cheesecake as dessert! :)

The evening also included precious words from the father of the groom, best man, and maid of honor.

The darling couple!

After the rehearsal dinner, I headed to another party for the bride, which was so much fun, I forgot to take any pictures!  Oops!  :)
The next day we went to the church for the big day!!

Great discussions abounded while the photos were taken.  I just love these candids because the sharing and visiting and remembering are some of the things I enjoy most about getting together with family and friends.

Then, the big event took place and it was fabulous.  So sweet and exactly what the bride envisioned!
After the ceremony, we all drove to the reception.
Upon entering the reception venue, guests signed puzzle pieces that could be put together to replicate the nearby photos of the now-newlyweds.  Also, guests could take their hand at discovering how well they know the bride and groom by working a crossword puzzle with clues specifically about the couple.  Such a cute idea!

The food was phenomenal!  I sampled fajitas, coconut shrimp and fabulous guacamole.  Some of my favorites for sure!
I guess I'm good at following directions! :)

The dessert table was filled with other delectable delights: strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate cake balls; individual banana puddings; cheesecake; and a wedding cake complete with a bride and groom bear cake topper.
