Happy Birthday, Daddy!!

Yesterday was the birthday of one of the most wonderful men on planet Earth, my Dad.  God has blessed me beyond all measure to have him for my father.  Dad has taught me so many things throughout my life.  Bless his heart, we're still working on basic football terminology and I'm trying to get better at learning what all those penalties mean.  I think I've finally gotten "offsides" down now! :)  Maybe one day I won't have to text him in the middle of the game after the referee makes an announcement to find out what's going on!! :)

Dad, thank you so much for being my coach, encourager, teacher, spiritual guide, and friend.  I am so thankful for all the things you have taught me and look forward to many more life lessons.

I love you, Daddy, and hope you had a wonderful day!!

Mom shared some pictures from their celebration at home:

L to R: G, M, and Dad
BTW, I love the pumpkin centerpiece, Mom!! :)
Notice the perfect gift bag for the sports aficionado! :)
Mother and Son :) So sweet!

Dad and Mom
The best parents a girl could ask for! :)

Oh, how I love all those smiling faces!  Makes me miss home.  I'm looking forward to seeing Mom soon, though, and hopefully I'll see the others soon after that!

Hope you are all enjoying this cooler weather. :)
