Happy New Year!!

Wait, what is that you say?  Today is not January 1st?  I'm two months behind?  Oops! :)  Here's a little recap from my New Years with some fun friends...

 Lindsey, Erin, and I had a blast ringing in the new year in Uptown!

Hope it's been a great 2012 for you so far!!

Of course, I had to don the New Year's crown!! :)

New Years Day, the gals and I headed to Hattie's in the Bishop Arts District.

The light in the restaurant was so fantastic that my sweet friends indulged me with a little photo shoot. :)

We had such a fun time!

The decor was such a great mix of vintage and modern.

I loved the white ceiling tiles!

So thankful for these sweet friends!!

And don't fret, the menu certainly did not disappoint.

We had to start with the lobster bisque.  Delish!

And when chicken and waffles is the house specialty, one must indulge!

Erin got the mac and cheese which is apparently to die for.

I will have to try this next time!

Such a blessing to celebrate 2012 with these special gals.

Then, they let me take more pictures!!

We enjoyed strolling up and down the street

doing a little window shopping.

This place sure looks fun!

I would say my first adventure to the Bishop Arts District was a definite success!

Can't wait to return!!
