Megan's Bridal Portraits

This post is 1 of 5 about the events leading up to and the beautiful wedding of my precious friend Megan last weekend!!
We begin with the bridal portraits.
It was such a special day to go with Megan and her parents as she had her bridal portraits made.
I took a few of my own snapshots as the professional took hers.  All of Megan's portraits were gorgeous!

I had some fun with picnik on these shots.  They have so many neat effects!!

I thought this one almost looked like a painting.

A softer layer

1960's effect

So serene

Wave from the mother-of-the-bride.
Note that a Sonic drink is essential for all wedding preparation! :)

All smiles here!

Beautiful day for photos

I just loved the clouds overhead

The sunset was gorgeous, too!!

I think this picture looks like it was taken on the beach.

So peaceful

One of my favorites!

Loved getting to drive the bride from location to location!!

We had another visitor looking on from a distance.

Happy Bride!!

Just LOVE the shoes!!
It was a beautiful day with a beautiful bride!
So happy to spend this time with such a special friend and her sweet parents!! :)

Happy Halloween!

I thought a recap of the Pumpkin Party I attended on Saturday night would be a fun Halloween post!

Before the party some of us headed to a wonderful Thai restaurant for dinner.

Of course I had to commemorate the moment!

Kristen and Martha

Amanda and Adriel

Martha had stowed some fancy glasses in her purse for a Halloween costume, so I tried them on and made the most awkward face I could... :)

Then it was time for the pumpkin party!!
The table was filled with so many yummy pumpkiny treats!
Lindsay also made the most delicious buffalo chicken dip -- a must for any football-watching party!

I loved the decor!

Serious pumpkin carving commenced.

Isn't this adorable with the flowers?

I loved the bow on the pumpkin to the left and the one on the right is Harry Potter with his lightning scar.

A cute BOO pumpkin

Adriel carved a pumpkin on her pumpkin -- clever!

What a friendly Jack-O-Lantern!

Here's my finished product with the pumpkin from the World Hunger Farm.

I opted for a gold paint pen

and immediately placed it on my mantle when I returned home!

Happy Halloween!
