Bridal Luncheon

On my last day as a Miss, my sweet friends hosted a lovely luncheon for me and my precious ladies.

The ladies who hosted this sweet luncheon are all so precious to me and I am so thankful for this sweet outpouring of love and support as I journeyed to my big day.

The tables were beautifully appointed with tulips -- some of my favorite flowers!

It was so nice to have a fun and relaxing time visiting with friends

and enjoying a delicious meal before the festivities of the big day began.

We enjoyed the most delicious key lime pie for dessert and I loved being able to thank my sweet friends for their love and support on this journey with small tokens of appreciation.  I loved the way our local paper store wrapped the gifts for me complete with personalized gift tags and bows!

I am so thankful for each of these ladies and the way their love and friendship have shaped my life.  It is certainly a precious thing that our cultural traditions offer these pauses in life to celebrate and reflect on those around us and how thankful we are for them.  I know I would never have gotten to this point in my life without them!

Bridal Portraits

Several months before our big day, I had the treat of having my bridal portraits taken by our amazing photographer, Kelly Hosch.  We took them at Armstrong Browning Library and I truly felt like a princess!  It was so much fun to get all dressed up in my wedding ensemble and have my hair done by my amazing hair guru Ashley and my makeup done by the wonderful artist April.  Here's a glimpse of that wonderful day I was able to share with my mom and future mother-in-law. :)

Thank you, Kelly, for capturing this magical time!
